We’re proud to be included to represent one of San Diego's iconic gems, the Bay. Hilton San Diego Bayfront has partnered with Payton DeVore to create a stained glass art installation featuring the California state fish, the Garibaldi. The orange and blue glass will reflect on the ground creating an underwater effect.
In addition to the art installation, there will also be a passport available in the lobby to pick up for anyone embarking on the Paseo Walk. Inside the passport is a map that outlines each of the design experiences to guide you over the 1.7 mile walk.

Meet the Artists
I am a full time nurse and part time stained glass artist located on the West Coast. My journey with glass began in college as a hobby, but has evolved into a comfort and a passion. Each piece is infused with a blend of love and inspiration from nature. I hope that others can enjoy the whimsical combination of light and color as I do.
Payton DeVore
Shirish Villasenor
I am a professional artist and muralist who was born and raised in Chula Vista. My work is a featured in several public locations, including Chula Vista’s Third Avenue La Bella Pizza Garden restaurant and the Secret Stairs of Valencia Park mural project in San Diego. My inspiration comes from the idea that certain colors and designs can change people’s mindsets, transforming their attitudes and moods positively. In addition to being an artist, I also am a Guest Service Agent at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront.
